POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Brand Manager for Allergy & Base Business will assume leadership in the development of robust ICP plans to drive topline, drive bottom line and market share growth and work closely with cross-functional leaders in Insights (Consumer & Data Analytics), Sales, Finance, Product Development and Supply Chain to drive the monthly business planning process, tracking performance against key building blocks and identify ways to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.

The Senior Brand Manager will lead the development of the healthcare professional and consumer communication plans, in collaboration with the digital and medical affairs teams, to bring to life an exciting marketing plan for our Pediatric Allergy portfolio. In addition, this individual will be responsible for managing our large portfolio of standard and disease specific tube feeding formulas, with a focus on ensuring supply and identifying opportunities for profit improvement. This individual will work very closely with our Medical Nutrition sales team, developing messaging, tools and resources to facilitate productive engagements with healthcare professionals.The Senior Brand Manager will directly manage one Associate Brand Manager.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Short and Long-term Platform/Product Line Management

  • Leads work with agencies and internal Creative Services in the creation and management of strategic materials such as digital content to promote brands
  • Leads the identification of insights through multiple data sources (i.e. customers/consumers, competitive, primary research, external trend reports) and working collaboratively with Consumer Insights & Analytics
  • Leads the Monthly Business planning process for allergy and standard tube feeding products working closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to identify opportunities and risks to mitigate to achieve topline, bottom line and market share goals for current year
  • Collaborates with I&R manager regarding the development of the pipeline. Leads launch of new innovation/renovation projects.
  • Provides direction and collaborates across the organization as appropriate for the development of marketing programs and marketing literature that compliment product and channel needs

Annual Marketing Plan and Budget

  • Leads annual marketing plan process including lessons learned, implications and development of strategic imperatives in addition to the development of the detailed tactical plan in collaboration with our digital, medical and sales partners.
  • Determines required marketing mix to support annual/strategic plan objectives
  • Establishes platform/product sales, profit and A&P marketing budgets
  • Measures and monitors performance against plan and program effectiveness
  • Modifies plans or implements corrective actions as necessary

Competitive/Market Analysis

  • Evaluates industry trends, competitive situation, customer feedback, technological advances and converts insights to marketing requirements
  • Formulates and executes successful competitive research and action plan development

People Development

  • Development of Associate Brand Manager, coaching & guiding to support performance & development goals.
  • Providing support for training, mentorship and exposure to Director & VP on key initiatives.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing or a related discipline or related experience. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of Marketing , Sales or Customer experience, with a demonstrated track record of success. Experience with marketing to health care professionals and consumers for product(s) within the medical / healthcare space.
