The Maintenance Supervisor will actively supervise hard services deployment in responding to facilities general maintenance problems in multiple areas such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and general maintenance services. Prioritizes, organizes, directs, and controls the daily operations of various facilities maintenance activities and projects.

Supervises Work
Establishes and disseminates employee work schedules, assignments, procures materials, reviews, and provides documentation of work progress and results.
Coordinates daily work activities and/or projects of shift team and subcontractors.
Ensure that the mechanics are provided with proper information and materials about assignments to complete work activities in a high quality and timely fashion.
Performs field checks and oversight activities.
Orients, trains, and develops employees by establishing standards and objectives for, and evaluates the performance of employees.
Management of daily and scheduled work orders
Develops material and labor cost estimates for corrective/maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance activities, and/or systems and construction projects.
Incident command and oversight during high impact maintenance problems and/or downtime.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Client Interaction
Interacts with customer personnel to coordinate work and professionally communicate plans of the day, potential disruptions, and facility conditions.
Reporting and follow-up to meet customer needs and requirements.
Education/Training
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of trades schooling in refrigeration and HVAC, or electrical system design.
Experience - 5+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering maintenance with at least 3 years in supervision.
Knowledge of all current facility code requirements and standards.
Demonstratable exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, carpentry, welding, and electrical systems engineering/operation.
Must be proficient in basic computer application software, such as MS Office, CMMS, IAWS, and E-Mail etc.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
Physical work requirements and work conditions
The job requires regular operation of standard office equipment, and hand tools. The job also requires operating tools or equipment with a skill level that is typically acquired through trade or vocational school training.
This job requires working in a professional office setting. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. You may be working indoors and outdoors in a range of temperatures that may vary from hot to cold. Bending, lifting, twisting, and standing for long hours may be required.
The typical work environment involves potentially high risks with exposure to potentially dangerous situations that require adherence to prescribed safety policies, procedures, and precautions.
