Overview

The Governance and Risk Services (GRS) Associate Analyst assists with day-to-day analysis, participation, and completion of departmental workload in the form of Incidents and Requests/Tasks related to cyber governance and risk management activities. Performs daily actions that align with established training plans, knowledge base articles, and organizational documentation with oversight from supervisor. GRS Associate Analyst effectively communicates process and procedure details to end users and team members.

Responsibilities

Provides support for daily Cyber Governance and Risk operations and departmental workload in the form of Incidents, Request/Tasks and group mailbox replies:

    Triages incidents and responds to emails received to ensure prompt customer service and provide end users with directions on how to submit Requests.
  • Provides support with internal and external requests for information, follow-ups, and documentation.

Provides support by monitoring department dashboards to ensure processes are functioning as expected and reports are reflecting appropriately:

  • Monitors Cyber Third-Party Risk Management dashboard to address past due requests and ensure proper turn-around times.
  • Reviews dashboards shared with stakeholders (i.e. Internal Audit) to report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Make necessary updates to Cyber solution repository.

Actively participates in meetings to brings ideas and concerns back to the team for consideration and/or remediation. Engages with other departments when needed to meet GRS expectations:

  • Attends meetings with other teams on behalf of GRS based on leadership directive.
  • Meets with external stakeholders to represent and speak on behalf of Cyber Governance and Risk Processes and Procedures.


Qualifications

Associate's Degree in related field and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training. OR

High School diploma, or equivalent, and 1-2 years' experience in related roles.

Preferred certifications:

  • GRC Auditor (GRCA) certification Preferred
  • CSX Cybersecurity Practitioner (CSX-P) certification Preferred
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) certification Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $29.54/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
