Application Window Open date: January 28, 2025 Next review date: Thursday, Feb 27, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, Jul 28, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Director, Center for Pharmacoepidemiology - Associate or Full Professor The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Director of the Center for Pharmacoepidemiology at the UCSF School of Pharmacy. We are seeking a nationally recognized, funded researcher to join our faculty as a full-time Associate or Full Professor in the In Residence or Ladder Rank academic series. The successful candidate will serve as the inaugural director for a new Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and is a nationally known, funded researcher with expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical health services, outcomes research, health policy or implementation science. The Center Director will build a world-class, funded research program, provide leadership and strategic direction for the Center, and develop new graduate programs in pharmacoepidemiology for pharmacists. Working with the Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, the Director will also recruit new faculty members into the Center and facilitate research collaborations within the School of Pharmacy and with other units at UCSF. This is a full-time academic position. We welcome applications from pharmacist-scientists with relevant backgrounds and experiences who are able to lead this growth area for the School. Start-up funding support will be made available. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $145,500 - $309,800. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Required Qualifications:
