As the I T Manager, you will manage IT infrastructure and business systems within the local unit of a chemical company Qemetica Silica US that is part of a global group. You will support business strategies by ensuring the operation of IT solutions that align with global standards and local requirements. Key Responsibilities: Work with partners to define business and systems requirements for new technology or instructional technology implementations to align with business strategy. Report performance and KPI results to the CIO and Business Leader. Oversee the operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, and cloud solutions. Ensure high system availability and minimize downtime risks. Plan and implement IT projects. Support the digitalization of business processes in production, logistics, finance, and sales. Lead the IT team and coordinate the work of external partners. Manage the local IT budget. Monitor and implement security policies supporting global group standards. Manage security incidents and develop preventive plans. Analyze business processes and translate them into technological solutions. Provide technical support to employees. Educate users on IT tools and data security practices. Collaborate, negotiate and communicate with partners, both locally and globally. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred or 10+ years of proven experience as Network Engineer, Applications Analyst or similar role. 5+ years' experience leading an IT function. Experience with IT infrastructure/architecture, Quality Management Systems, ERP (SAP), IT trends and technologies, including data security. Manage teams in a matrix structure. Experience in planning and executing IT projects. Global experience preferred.
