Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Program Analyst - Military-Civilian Liaison Officer - to support our mission work at our Fort Belvoir, VA customer site. The selected candidate will have responsibility in the following areas as Program Analyst - Military-Civilian to act as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and analysis on military operations and future force capabilities to senior leadership.



Responsibilities

You will assist in the development and evaluation of new technologies and concepts designed to modernize the Army for future combat scenarios, ensuring alignment with current doctrine and operational needs.

    Strategic Planning: Analyze emerging threats and future operational environments to inform the development of the Army's long-term modernization strategy, including identifying potential gaps and opportunities for new technologies.
  • Concept Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine new military concepts, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for future combat operations, considering potential technological advancements.
  • Capability Assessment: Evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed technologies and systems against current and future operational requirements, providing feedback to developers and decision-makers.
  • Warfare Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of potential future conflicts, including simulations and modeling, to assess the impact of new technologies and concepts on battlefield outcomes.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Interface with other military organizations, industry partners, and research institutions to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and technology development.
  • Testing and Experimentation: Participate in field exercises and experimentation programs to test and validate new concepts and technologies in realistic operational environments.
  • Policy Development: Provide informed military expertise to inform policy decisions related to force modernization and capability development
  • Temporary Duty Travel of 25% or more is included


Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex scenarios, identify emerging trends, and project future operational needs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential military applications, including robotics, artificial intelligence, and cyber warfare.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across different disciplines, including engineers, scientists, and military personnel.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Open and adaptable to change, with a strong drive for taking on new challenges and tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task in a computer-operated environment.
  • Using a keyboard, mouse, and other associated peripherals on a daily basis.
  • Looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion of hands/wrist utilized in filing and other tasks
  • Extensive operational experience in a relevant military branch with a deep understanding of current doctrine, tactics, and battlefield dynamics.
  • Previous experience supporting a broad range of stakeholders in an organization with a diverse workforce.
