Digital Banking Analyst

Position Summary

The Digital Banking Analyst leverages data and industry trends to develop insights and opportunities around Digital Banking products, services, and features. This individual will use their intellectual curiosity and collaborative nature to ask questions around Digital Banking and answer them through multiple and disparate quantitative and qualitative data sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Builds BI reports and other reports as needed to track performance of digital products, services, and features.

  • Present findings to leadership as well as produce materials for broad consumption.
  • Participates in and networks with data community at Simmons Bank. Will attend and make personal contributions to analytics roundtables.
  • Supports the development and identification of Digital Banking opportunities through collection and analysis of data.
  • Researches industry trends and looks for opportunities to incorporate industry benchmarks and best practices into Digital Banking products, features, and services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate value proposition and product benefits to customers
  • High technology acumen and strong understanding of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Understanding of SQL and database programming
  • Comfortable using technology to solve problems
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
  • Positive, self-improvement mindset with fervent desire to learn
  • Ability to collaborate and work in cross-functional team
  • "We not Me" attitude and strong desire to encourage and foster teamwork

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience using BI tools, SQL, and database programming
  • Highly proficient in MS Suite
