Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
This role plays a critical part in planning and delivery within Ocean Spray's modernization journey acting as the IT Workstream lead in the Record-to-Report (RTR) pillar. This is an exciting time to join our journey, providing the candidate the opportunity to blueprint and drive change from birth to nurturing across a global business.
This SAP IT Lead, FICO will have a deep understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report processes which are critical to our business operations. Leveraging this knowledge and in partnership with the RTR Business Workstream Lead, the IT Lead will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of an optimized, integrated, automated solution. They work closely with their fellow IT Leads, Business Workstream Leads, and System Integrators across business processes, technology (including development and integration), deployment, data, security & controls, testing and organizational change management to deliver an improved and fully integrated solution to the organization.
Post-transformation, this role will be the SAP Finance Functional Lead and a critical component of our Application COE, working with key business stakeholders and product teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements & projects that provide value to the cooperative, while ensuring operational health of our core finance systems. You will be adept and come with a Product mindset in architecture, engineering and importantly with enabling the continuous flow of value through interactive improvements to process and design.
A Day in the Life... RTR IT Workstream Lead Responsibilities: As an integral and respected leader within the ERP transformation project team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Co-Develop workstreamplan
- Collaborates with other solution integration and business leadsto ensure end-to-end processes are appropriately designed, built and supported bytechnology
- Provide input and oversight of design/build/test cycles plan
- Co-Facilitates workstream status meetings, dailystand-upmeetings, design/buildreviews/retrospectives and participate in cross workstreammeetings
- Identify and document business requirements/userstories
- Provide input to CutoverPlan
- Co-Lead and assist in execution of TestPlanand defect identification & resolution
- Assist in design of future-state businessprocesses
- Perform cross-module, end-to-end processintegration
- Collaborate with IT Product Owners to develop and execute plan to design, build, test, and deploy integrations to boundary applications
- Support change management team in understanding impacts of system andprocesschanges
- Review and provide input to training and communicationscontent
- Contribute to the standardization of reports, processes, and data definitions/attributes
- Work with conversion team to provide direction for data cleansing andvalidation
- Manages workload & tracks capacity of supporting internal analysts
Technical Skills/Responsibilities:
- Perform as functional expert for SAP FICO module in support of holistic Accounting processes, leading all Product Management aspects of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, solution definition, build, testing, deployment, and support
- Drive process and solution standardization leveraging SAP best practices and industry templates
- Accountable for system integrations to/from SAP FICO components, including intersections with other SAP modules & EDI
- Coordinate and perform use case tests, end-user reviews and post-implementation support
- Oversee production support and act as point of escalation for critical break/fix issues within SAP FICO ecosystem
- Lead a product team and perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed enhancements and projects to aid management in making implementation decisions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, SAP development team, data governance, and subject matter experts to prioritize and deliver enhancements within SAP FICO module
- Work with the business and product managers from cross-functional initiatives to support the business processes related to Record-to-Report and identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and growth enabled by tech solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key Accounting/Controller, Treasury, Procurement, and Financial Planning stakeholders and end users leveraging deep business and functional knowledge to drive strategic IT and business initiatives
- Identify cost savings initiatives, automation and drive innovative thinking across Record-to-Report domain
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years of functional experience in SAP FICO, ideally in a CPG/Manufacturing business
- Deep understanding of Accounting processes & principles
- Leadership experience within a technology transformation for SAP FICO, across both design and deployment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders to adopt industry best practices in terms of business processes and technology solutions
- Strong research, data analysis, and problem visualization skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams effectively
Education: Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
Work Experience: At least 7 Years of Experience
