Coordinates and delivers in-person and virtual training solutions and learning interventions to schools and youth care agencies across the country. Functions as the subject matter expert on revising current and developing new products. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Provides safe and effective services
  • Adheres to policies related to safety and boundaries with service recipients.
  • Attends safety and abuse risk management training as assigned.
  • Adheres to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising service recipients.
  • Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements.
Coordinates and delivers training to external agencies across the country
  • Coordinates and delivers professional development to schools or youth care agencies, followed by supportive coaching/consultation.
  • Travels approximately 50% of the time to contracted sites to conduct training and/or consult with or observe staff.
  • Leverage technology to deliver workshops consultations on-site or distance based.
  • Utilizes internal systems to communicate with clients, schedule services, and complete follow-up documentation and reports.
Supports curriculum revisions and development of new products
  • Functions as subject matter expert to support the development and revision of training content and support materials
  • Conducts research to support curriculum, product development, and client needs.
  • Collaborates with the project team to support developing and revising training content and support materials.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and external contacts by phone, in person, or through correspondence in an articulate, professional manner.
  • Ability to research, plan, organize, and conduct training programs, seminars, and conferences.
  • Ability to design and develop material for new training programs and to deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong relationship building and collaborative skills.
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make necessary adaptations to content, time, or audience.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects in parallel while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentials to train courses requiring special qualifications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of training experience required.
  • Available to travel approximately 50% of the time required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working within a school, community-based, or campus-based setting preferred.
