What to Expect As an IT Application Development Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications, and gain valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare technology sector. Pay: $18-$23 Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week (Depending on your school schedule. We're flexible!) Duration: 8-12 weeks Location: Onboarding, training, and some projects will be located at our 8220 N 23rd Ave. office in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout this Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona internship, you will: Learn the BCBSAZ business model, organization, and impact on the community. Assist with technical support, resolution, and analysis of information technology functions. Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to the roles within the IT Application Development area. Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department. Research, analyze, track, and resolve basic information technology problems. Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions. Learn area's direct flow and how it affects surrounding systems and operational areas. Kickstart a potential future career at BCBSAZ! Qualifications Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in computer technology or related technical field.
