As a server you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, managing tables, and ensuring seamless dining experience for our guests. Applicants should be 18 years or older. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide an exceptional dining experience, manage tables inn a calm and professional manner at all times. Be able to adapt to a fast paced environment. Operate POS system, handle cash, manage guests, tables, and work with the team. Help guests navigate menu, make recommendations to food, wine, liquor, and beer. Complete open and closing duties, maintain restaurant cleanliness throughout shift. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS:Liquor, wine, and food knowledge. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication, basic math EXPERIENCE: 1+ year serving. LICENSE NEEDED: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 30 minutes. Will get breaks as available. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 90% inside 10% outside and can be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items. MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Coffee grinder, coffee brewer, elevator, hot chocolate machine, vacuum.
