Job Description: Night Shift Lead
Key Elements and Essential Tasks
In addition to performance of operations specialist functions, responsible for tasks and process coordination of assigned team and shift.
Ensure client assets, including network, alarm systems, and building monitoring are fully operational and escalate potential impact or limitation of full operation or double-active status.
Coordinate and manage incidents related to client buildings and assets ensuring accurate determination of severity level, appropriate notifications to building occupants, and engineering staff, and operations stakeholders and in accordance with incident management program.
Ensure policies and procedures are complied with to include, but not limited to, alarm management, monitoring of mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems, record keeping, communication logs, and dispatch of operations staff.
Responsible for tracking, escalating, and communicating incidents with potential for business disruption through established channels and protocols.
Assist field operations with troubleshooting equipment utilizing building automation system information, evaluating trend data, and performing overrides.
Monitor and coordinate building shutdown activities through building automation systems.
Ensure the validation and approval of vendor activity prior to work beginning.
Ensure timely completion of pro-active virtual tours of all facility systems for proper operation.
Receive, generate and process work orders in designated system and dispatch technicians and follow up as appropriate.
Review, manage, maintain and issue required shift reports, provide coaching, training, and quality assurance review of team.
All other duties and tasks assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred degree/education in technology related field from accredited university/college
Strong knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to consistently develop accurate periodic reports, under client defined critical deadlines
Time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills with strong attention to detail
Self-starter and must be able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
Shifts vary to include both nights and weekends, availability is required
Preferred, but not required, experience in Building automation systems
Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required
Understanding of tehnology, software applications and computer systems
Customer focus and customer service skills
Strong Interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm during stressful or emergent situations
