Position Summary The University of New Mexico NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC) invites applications for faculty candidates with expertise in the areas of ; DNA replication and/or DNA repair mechanisms; the DNA damage response; defects in genome maintenance pathways in cancer cells; interactions between environmental factors and genome stability. We seek highly interactive basic and translational scientists to join a vibrant and highly collaborative research community based in the UNMCCC Cellular and Molecular Oncology Program whose members are engaged in research spanning from basic laboratory discovery to translational and clinical science. While these positions are Open Rank, Open Track, successful applicants will have a strong track record of scientific accomplishment exemplified by peer-reviewed funding (NCI, NIH, or other agencies), high quality publications, and collaborative research. A strong cancer research focus is essential. Significant resources, including excellent salaries, comprehensive start-up packages, and endowed positions, are available. Faculty rank and appointment will be commensurate with accomplishments.
