Description
Summary / Position Purpose: Hisco, a Division of TestEquity, is looking for a Key Account Manager to add to the growing team! The Key Account Manager will develop, implement, and grow sales for an assigned key, multi-site customers in core market segments; working in conjunction with regional sales teams in the assigned geography. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and growing key relationships at assigned Global Accounts.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a defendable Value Proposition at assigned Global Accounts.
- Gain market share at assigned Global Parent accounts.
- Leads the Global Account planning process for assigned accounts.
- Maintains a robust target list of key accounts in core market segments.
- Communicates performance against goals and objectives to assigned customers.
- Submits annual account portfolio business plans to include current customers and target sales growth goals.
- Serve as Supplier liaison at assigned Global Accounts.
- Coordinates cross-functional activities across the company to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
- Works and supports Zone business development; helps to identify opportunities, customer needs and pricing.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred or equivalent industry experience required.
- 6+ years proven industrial sales experience in the industry required.
- Reliable, state registered vehicle(s) for daily driving to conduct customer calls and visitation.
- Valid Driver's License in resident state.
- High degree of Personal Integrity, Honesty, & Work Ethic.
- Working knowledge of technical products, sales, and services (e.g., various parts and supplies: electrical, electronics, automotive, adhesive, aerospace, defense, solar, medical, etc.)
- Business Acumen (understanding of sales, finance, accounting, marketing & operations).
- Concise and Inspiring Communicator
- High degree of Business Development strategies
- Capable of delivering on Plan and able to take ownership for results.
- Excellent planning, execution, & management skills.
- Knowledge of General Business & Administrative Procedures.
- Working knowledge of Credit principles
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint are essential)
- Able to accommodate heavy travel demands as required.
