Responsibilities

Summary

The Contract Administration Clerk provides clerical support related to maintaining accurate records for the Department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Contract Administration Clerk maintains accurate and complete data about the organization's clients and assists with technical processing of contracts and related documents in the digital library, hard copy library, and contract database.
  • Develops, prepares, and generates ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to contract administration requests.
  • The Contract Administration Clerk ensures data integrity by assisting with system maintenance and system audits.
  • Performs data entry and maintenance of computer files.
  • The Contract Administration Clerk responds to requests for information from the database in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepares and formats documents for management signature.
  • The Contract Administration Clerk processes department information and maintains records on the database system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (some college, or college degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in office procedures and related clerical duties.
  • Knowledge of database management.
  • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal or written correspondence.
  • Ability to develop accurate and effective reports that may explain technical information.
  • Ability to work with computers and the applicable software used by the department.
