Job Description Summary: The Product Engineer (DMTS) develops novel solutions to customer driven problems including ruggedized miniature electro-mechanical systems, systems for harsh environments (e.g. high-g, high temperature, high vibration), dynamic mechanisms, and autonomous systems. The product engineering and manufacturing support team helps turn these cutting-edge designs into fielded hardware for our end customers.Job Description: The Production Integration & Capabilities Lead will be a key contributor to the Product Engineering, Fabrication and Assembly Division Leadership Team. In this role the Production Integration & Capabilities Lead will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing technology and production needs across multiple programs and emerging opportunities, and then out briefing the Leadership Team on key elements needed in order to enable successful execution. The Production Integration Capabilities Lead will also be responsible for establishing strategies, policies, procedures, and tools needed for short term and long term capacity planning and modeling. Duties/Responsibilities *Independently drive solutions to complex, multidisciplinary problems with a deep understanding of a customer's strategic priorities *Analyze Draper strategy and work with management to build capability in key areas to help sustain business growth *Gather, consolidate, and communicate business needs to core leadership team so that it can be executed *Create and maintain roadmaps for capability and capacity expansion *Strategic planning to meet product demand by consolidating needs, space, equipment, and capabilities *Capable of helping customers shape their needs and develop requirements for programs that solve their most challenging technical problems *Serve as an Proposal Approver for this division. *Contributes to advancing State of the Art (SOA) solutions and techniques in Product Engineering. *Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Product Engineering.
