The Role

The Resource Management Team falls within Operations - People Team. This team is focused on identifying the right resources to support our clients' needs. We allocate our resources by leveraging varying aspects: an understanding of our resources, project scope in demand, utilization, capacity, and more. All this has to be considered in order to make the giant jigsaw puzzle of staffing successful and we desire our data to be a stronger indicator of strategic staffing decisions.

AArete is looking for a Resource Management Associate to join our team. As the Resource Management Associate with AArete, you will be a key part of data integrity, supporting data-focused initiatives, serve as a point of contact to fulfill staffing needs, encourage firm-wide visibility into skillsets, and report on which client projects our resources are staffed on with related utilization.

Work You'll Do

  • Serve as a point of contact for all staffing needs and issues inclusive of reporting, resource information sharing, correspondence, etc.
  • Collaborate with Resource Management Manager and AArete leadership to staff resources appropriately based on skillset and project details, book resources to projects in resource management system, and properly notify necessary parties in order to successfully deploy staff
  • Balance interpersonal soft skills with data to appropriately educate on staffing decisions, advocate for our resources' while ensuring we're supporting business and client needs
  • Manage accurate data and enhance the usage of NetSuite OpenAir staffing tool which includes reporting, utilization, employee capabilities, preferences, etc.
  • Support steps to implement clean and accurate data and strengthen integrity of data for data automation initiatives
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute staffing availability and utilization reports to uncover trends or issues that need addressing such as abnormally high or low individual utilization
  • Work collaboratively with recruiting, human resources, and accounting departments to effectively determine staffing needs and outline potential administrative support
  • Support various Staffing initiatives' tasks and drive next steps for improved business operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in data management or a similar role within a professional services environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of reliability
  • Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and the ability to present data in a clear, insightful manner
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience within consulting or industries relevant to our clients (Healthcare Payer, Provider, Higher Education, Retail, Transportation, etc.)
  • Experience with NetSuite OpenAir or similar staffing systems; strong appetite to learn and ability to share examples of working with comparable tools or processes
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools

The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our Employee Stock Ownership Plan, majority employer-paid benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
