Columbia University in the City of New York: Arts and Sciences Core - Academic: Department of Biological Sciences Location 01 Open Date Feb 07, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $77,000-$77,000 Description The Greenwald Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to study conserved signaling systems that convey information between cells, tissues, and organs during C. elegans development. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on the regulation of organ development in different starvation paradigms. The research will include generating strains by classical genetics and/or genome engineering, genetic mosaic analysis, RNAi screening for suppressors and/or enhancers of mutant phenotypes, and detailed anatomic characterization of mutants and mosaics.
