JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring a Data Integration Analyst. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HL7, interface engines and novice programming skills. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in data integration development with HL7, Web service (e.g. REST, SOAP and XML) and file transfers. Duties include: collects workflow information and business needs to develop interface specifications, code configuration and data flow diagrams, manage projects and serves as primary customer contact. Defines and maintains project plan and schedule. Monitor compliance with definitions of project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Defines and develops test scenarios. Provides regular project status reports to customer and internal management. This is an entry level position within the HSIR team for a self-starter with the ability to work with moderate to minimal oversight in a highly complex and dynamic work environment. Position focuses on support and optimization of mission- critical systems.

JOB DUTIES
- Provide workflow assistance, trouble-shooting and support for mission critical HSIR systems with assistance.
- Provide on-call after-hours support.
- Develop and maintain competency on pertinent applications and technologies within a specified timeframe.
- Participate in system maintenance by utilizing analytical skills for issue resolution, enhancement development, project participation and version upgrades with oversight.
- Follow change management procedure for any system changes.
- Assist in testing of new applications and changes to existing applications ensuring integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users.
- Assist in developing appropriate process/policy documentation.
- Manage multiple tasks/work on multiple projects simultaneously with guidance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
