Compensation

Pay Rate: $46.00 - $$73.61 per hour DOE

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.



Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides nursing care to critical care patients. Effectively plans and communicates patient and family education. Participates in unit based educational activities. Accurately and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy. Completes approximately 16-week CMH Critical Care Training program, including AACN ECCO on-line training.

Application deadline is February 28, 2025. Program Starts April 21, 2025.



Qualifications

Required:

    Graduate from an ADN or BSN program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) OR Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) by March 1, 2025
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Willingness to commit to the Critical Care RN Training Program for one year at 0.9 FTE on shift of hire
  • Current California RN license by April 18, 2025 (Candidates may apply before licensure)

Preferred:

  • BSN
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
