Job Title: Mechanical Claims Analyst Description: We are seeking Mechanical Claims Analysts to join our expanding customer contact team. As a Mechanical Claims Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for honesty, fairness, and excellence. You will leverage your automotive expertise and exceptional customer service skills to assist customers through our contact center. Responsibilities: * Review, investigate, and authorize minor mechanical claims based on established contract guidelines. * Communicate via telephone and email with retail and wholesale customers, repair facilities, and other parties to resolve and process claims. * Utilize various technology and communication tools to process claims, review policies and procedures, labor times, and retrieve documents. * Use tools such as AllData, Mitchell, and other labor guides to obtain labor times for specific minor mechanical repairs. Key Responsibilities: * Handle calls from dealerships to determine if repairs are covered by the auto warranty, using a list of guidelines to approve or deny claims. * Assist car owners in understanding why a claim is approved or denied. * Advise car owners on the process required to get a quote and the next steps to determine if the repair will be covered. Skills and Qualifications: * 2+ years of hands-on automotive maintenance experience or mechanical claims experience. * ASE or other automotive certification preferred (expired certifications accepted). * Strong communication and computer skills, with the ability to use multiple programs to determine claim outcomes. * Experience with labor guides such as AllData (preferred but not required). * Experience with scan tools (preferred but not required). Top Skills: * Automotive industry knowledge * ASE certification * Customer service expertise Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
