We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Shipping Supervisor

Job Summary: Shipping Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the Shipping department while ensuring the staff follows GMP and safety policies. The Shipping Supervisor will ensure that all loading of trailers, staging of trucks, unloading trailers and product is done in a safe and efficient manner.

Compensation Details: Salary range is between $68,463 and $96,573 per year depending on years of experience plus $4,000 per year for shift premium.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Maintain the accurate movement of raw, cooked, and packaging materials and inventory control including weekly cycle counts on and off the dock.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Keep a control of pallets in the facility for all departments.
  • Maintain safety training as directed by safety department.
  • Control carriers and product movement coming in and out of the facility for all inbound and outbound loads.
  • Communicate daily with other facilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working on a shipping or warehouse dock is ideal.
  • Previous manufacturing in the meat industry a plus.
  • Inventory control and product movement experience is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a team of resourceful and skilled team members.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Must be able to problem solve.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Basic computer skills including Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of a timekeeping system.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
  • Coaching and performance management experience a plus.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
