SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Supply Manager is responsible for the development, communication, and execution of product specific supply plans for all relevant markets and customers. Performance will be measured through Customer Service Levels and Inventory Metrics and will require close collaboration with cross functional teams within the manufacturing network. The Supply Manager will ensure best practices are deployed in Supply and Inventory Management processes.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This position is based in Morristown, NJ and will report directly to the Associate Director - Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  1. Develop supply plan based on sales forecast, new product introduction plans and other planning parameters.
  2. Translate supply plan into purchase orders, stock transfer orders, and long-term business plans.
  3. Work with internal and third party manufactures on a routine basis to deliver requested finished goods, bulk (drug product) and API inventory according to scheduled timeline and quantity requirements.
  4. Participate in the development of the supply planning and inventory strategy for finished goods, bulk (drug product) and API.
  5. Optimize inventory positions to limit excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring satisfaction of customer orders.
  6. Support the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Process (SIOP) with KPI review, scenario analysis and risk identification and mitigation recommendations.
  7. Manage the day-to-day relationship with key internal and external manufacturers. Coordinate and perform Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's) with suppliers to discuss performance and strategic opportunities.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics/Mathematics or Engineering with 5 years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and best practices
  • Strong business process and MRP systems knowledge (preferably SAP)
  • Experience in the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management and/or Sales & Operations Planning
  • Experience with cGMP, FDA and DEA regulatory requirements
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Any certifications or continuous learning with APICS, ISM or other accredited professional organizations would be considered an asset
  • Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
