Your Role








Salary:$75,000 - $90,000 base salary with monthly commission. Salary is based on knowledge, skills, and experience and has been geographically adjusted.



Mission



Develop the low-pressure Oil-Free (AIF) business in the assigned territory in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of customers. Prepare related business development reports and conduct/present relevant market analysis. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager.




Roles and Responsibilities



Business Development (70%) - Develop the low-pressure Oil-free (AIF) business in the assigned region/area including sales and support of the Low Pressure Products. Meet or exceed established business goals through intensive prospecting and selling. Control expenses, while maximizing Company assets, time, skills, and profit levels. Identify key direct customers and markets within the assigned region/area. Implement a sales and marketing strategy within your assigned territory, developed by the Company, to maximize business results with these customers and markets. Support and promote the activities of the field sales personnel. Also, develop and manage low pressure OEMs. Represent the Company at trade shows and conferences, as required. Job may require up to 50% of your time traveling with the sales team. Maintain effective lines of communication with the AIF Business Line Manager, National Low Pressure Business Development Manager, Regional Vice President, Regional Key Account, Distribution and Aftermarket Sales Representatives, Technical and Service departments.

Reporting (10%) - Prepare monthly reports that show business development results, competitor activity, sales forecasts, and prospective activity. Use of IPSM (for quotes, follow-ups, opportunities, and identification) and CTP to record actions and activities related to business and account development. Preparation of monthly expense reports in Boomerang and keep all relevant Company databases up to date with current information.

Market Analysis (10%) - Continuously pursue knowledge and understanding of economic trends and news that may affect the AIF business. Report such activity to the Regional Sales Manager - Low Pressure, AIF Business Line Manager, Business Development Manager and Regional Vice President.

Personal Development (10%) - Through training and development remain current in the product knowledge and sales/marketing skills necessary to be effective in the position.

Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.

Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience




Three years of industrial sales experience, preferably in a related field.




Education




Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical area or equivalent experience.




Skills




Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as SAP / C4C applications. Travel required. Must have a valid driver's license.
