Scrum Master

Key Role:
Coach the development team on Scrum principles, help the team focus on sprint goals to achieve their highest performance level, to ensure the Scrum project is successfully progressed. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or with leading Agile teams

  • Experience with Information Technology

  • Experience with projects using the Scaled Agile Framework

  • Experience with Jira and implementing Agile techniques in a software delivery environment

  • Experience working directly with government clients

  • Experience with setting up sprints, running reports, and creating queries

  • Ability to support a technical delivery lead in decomposition sessions to determine the next steps for feature development

  • Ability to write user stories or structure user stories for software features

  • IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI)

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Scaled Agile Framework Scrum Master Certification

Vetting:

Applicants selected must possess an active IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI) and meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; IRS MBI is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
