Summer 2025 Applications Engineering Intern

Toshiba International Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of motors, motor controls and power electronics products. Assist in the development and implementation of clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions using computer and specially designed software.

Responsibilities

• Gain engineering experience by providing detailed technology support to customers, distributors, agencies and Toshiba Sales.
• Provides technical support and product trouble-shooting to customers.
• Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
• Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
• Ability to work with student around college class schedule within standard business hours.

Requirements:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Current enrollment in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
• Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
