Fabrication Technician

Fabrication technicians fabricate and assemble mechanical and electrical designs needed to support all facility and production requirements involving work of a varied nature with minimal and/or no supervision. Will work with others as a team to develop design solutions/suggestions to resolve failures and drive improvements.

Increase design reliability through the development of preventive and predictive maintenance requirements and diagnostic testing.
• Reviews with the Product Group teams and Fabrication Team Leader on design proposals, to include; prioritizing and planning of all fabrication requests.
• Consistently ensures all safety, quality, 5S, and work place improvements are met.
• Assist Suppliers, Purchasing, and Storeroom clerks with design component identification and appropriate stocking levels.

• Excel in all maintenance related fields; electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machine shop, and fabrication.
• Can communicate effectively with team members.

• Minimal of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Excellent Maintenance systems knowledge
• Demonstrated record of accomplishments in all Maintenance related fields
• Desire of continual skill level enhancement and pursuit of continual education in maintenance related fields
