The Opportunity

TC Energy's Construction Management & Inspection US team in its collaborative effort led by the Project Delivery Excellence organization, brought together to lead a series of critical initiatives focused on improving overall inspection execution resulting in improved performance on TC's portfolio of capital projects. The team is seeking an experienced Construction Support Specialist who will report to the Manager of the Construction Management & Inspection (US) Construction Support team.

In this role you will be accountable for the support of CM & I deliverables within a supporting team. The role will involve both office and field duties.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various business units including US Natural Gas Projects (USNGP), external vendors and other stakeholders in supporting of activities of key deliverables of, Resource Coordination, Vendor Surveillance, Learning Coordination and 4D deployment support. This will ensure and confirm the all-in support of TC Energy's strategic goal of leveraging project execution as a competitive advantage.

What You'll Do

• Work in a safe environment observing all safety and environmental standards, requirements and practices
• Showcase and drive collaboration, trust, commitment, responsibility, innovation and performance excellence
• Support program development, implementation and management for the 4D Tool
• Provide in-field coaching and mentoring support to project
• Support and Maintain LMS Training and compliance
• Assist the Construction Manager with providing orientation and training on TCE policies and procedures for 3rd party inspection
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve site safety, project quality and construction efficiency
• Support vendor surveillance resource coordination in collaboration with supply chain D
• Defining new data collection and analysis processes
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
• Using statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports
• Presenting results to the management team using charts, graphs and tables
• Support documentation verification data
• Self-Starter, Self-Motivator, capable of working virtually on assignments
• Strong member of a high-profile team
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-4 years In-Natural Gas experience
• Fluent with Excel (Formatting & Equations)
• Comfortable in Public speaking
• Active Motor Vehicle Operators License
• Willing to Travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree, Industry experience Business, or acceptable related field of study
• Natural Gas Background
• Construction Digital Tablet Background/code writing such as /VBA, Python, etc.
• PHMSA 192/195 Background
• Natural Gas Construction Compliance Background
• Veteran experience
