Job Summary: We're seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality across our semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this critical role, you'll be a key player in maintaining regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and supporting crucial industry certifications. You'll leverage your strong technical foundation and attention to detail to support quality control, specification management, internal audits, and certification. Main responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and military standards.
- Specification Updates: Review and update manufacturing specifications to align with regulatory requirements and quality needs.
- Continual Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes, identifying areas needing efficiency and quality enhancements.
- General Quality Control: Oversee quality control activities on the manufacturing floor, including inspections, defect tracking, and corrective actions.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Certification Support: Assist in preparation for Defense Logistics Agency and Aerospace/ISO certifications.
- Material Compliance Requests: Handle material requests and certifications, including RoHS, REACH, EMRT/CMRT.
- Data Sheet and SMD (Standard Military Drawing) Support: Review and update product data sheets to reflect accurate and current information.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of military standards (including MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38535).
- Experience with QMS (ISO9001/AS9100) and internal auditing.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
