WHAT YOU WILL DO: The full-time Hot Shot Driver will act as a material handler and forklift operator to build loads for deliveries while maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse. Duties include:
LOCATION: 240 W Taylor Ave, Meridian, ID 83642 SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7AM-5PM (or until deliveries are complete) SCREENINGS:
Responsibilities Communication Time Management Forklift Operation Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies Qualifications Be at least 21 years old. Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle. Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card.
