Dean of Engineering Job Description
Do you want to play a part in the University of Missouri's research enterprise? Do you get excited about innovative research that spans multiple areas, resulting in real-world results? The MU College of Engineering has a robust research culture, and the goal of growing significantly in the coming years. The College of Engineering Research Office seeks a motivated pre-award research administration professional to join our team and play an instrumental role in the growth and success of the college. The RD professional assists and encourages faculty in securing extramural funding, primarily for interdisciplinary project teams and multiple investigators; facilitates inter-college and inter-university partnerships related to research development; works closely with junior faculty learning to write grant proposals and navigate the submission process; works with college administrators, faculty and the ERO team to enhance the research enterprise in the College of Engineering and across campus; provides grantsmanship training for faculty, staff and students; and locates and distributes research funding opportunities. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekends Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $58,600.00 - $75,000.00 per year Application Materials
