The Opportunity:

We'relooking for aknowledge managerwho canassistour DoD clientin organizing data on multiple classified and unclassified platforms that will enable quick and structured access to the criticalinformationrequiredto conduct operations. You will alsoprovideexpertisein supporting, implementing, and managingknowledge management (KM) initiatives and training for our DoD client.

As aknowledge manageron ourteam,you'lltrain andmaintainfront-end support for KM sites,make recommendations, and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, tools,assessments,and meeting management practices.You willassistwith the development of KM roadmaps to improve the client's business operations andfacilitatethe sharing andleveragingof best business practices from the KM community.Additionally,you'llcontribute to functionalexpertisefor the management of client deliverables, leverage industry best practices, and develop client-ready products, including technical guides, knowledge-based articles, user acceptance testing documentation, briefings, reports, and internal communications.

You willassistinaligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. You'll use central and peripheral databases, content management tools, and record management systems to shape workflow and processes. You will research, organize, write, edit, and produce written content for use in a wide variety of formats, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and stakeholder communications. You'll recommend overall organization and layout, editorial standards, and publication methods, and assist in identifying content to repurpose for multiple channels. Finally, you willbe responsible forcompilingreports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities.

You Have:

  • 3+years of experience as a knowledge manager

  • Experience with Content Management to include document lifecycles and naming conventions

  • Experience developing technical manuals, procedures, and user guides

  • Experience with Sharepoint, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Share Drive, or One Drive

  • Experience with Power Platforms, such as Power Automate, Power BI, or Power Apps

  • Ability to work alone

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing, executing, or updating a content strategy

  • Experience with Content Management Systems

  • Knowledge Management Qualification

  • Program Management Certification, such as PMI or Agile

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
