Maintenance Technician
What this job involves -

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine standard servicing and repair operations to maintain hospital buildings, equipment, furnishing, fixtures, and grounds in proper condition.

What is your day to day?
Repairs and Preventative Maintenance -
HVAC: Filter replacement, belt replacement, cleaning coils, t-stat adjustments locally or temp adjustments in the BAS system
Plumbing: Plunging toilets via plunger or auger, fixing leaky faucets, cartridge/O-ring/p-trap replacements, wax ring on a toilet, irrigation sprinkler heads
Electrical: Replacement of light bulbs, switch/pull cords on an overbed lights
Structural: Repairs to drywall and Formica

Physical work requirements and work condition -
Lifting up to 80 lbs.
Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot).
Working from heights; climbing a ladder, up to 30 ft., with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.

Desired experience and technical skills
Required
2+ years of experience in general building maintenance functions.
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Proficient in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Work Order systems)

Preferred
EPA Universal License
BAS experience
Preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
