Summary:

Electrical Engineering Internship within our US Design Division. This opportunity is temporary employment for engineering students who are seeking a summer internship. This is a paid internship for 40 hours (except holidays) and will begin in May or June, 2025 and then likely concludes at the end of August, 2025. Open to all MN Sites including Rochester, Arden Hills, and Winona.

  • work for extended periods at a computer or on your feet.

Essential Functions:

Engineering activities for an intern will be prioritized based on customer needs. Based on project availability and need, the expected activities for an intern to support customer-based projects include:

  • Schematic Capture and updates from Engineering mentor.
  • Bill of Material generation, maintenance, and review.
  • Datasheet checking and organization.
  • Customer based component specification documents.
  • Executing verification tests.

Internal projects existing if customer related activities are not available include:

Reference design schematic capture, BOM, specification sheets, etc.

Weekly meetings occur with the EE group to determine availability and customer needs. Based on these meetings, workload will be evaluated and prioritized for an intern to keep customer projects on track as well as complete internal projects as needed for the engineering department.

Education: Pursuing Engineering Degree with strong preference for Computer Engineering , or Electrical Engineering majors.

Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1630

Full Time

Compensation Range: $13.13 to $22.00 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.

Relocation and Housing Assistance: Not offered
