Description

The Direct Marketing Coordinator, supports the Direct Marketing department and the entire organization, ensuring the successful project management and execution of digital and direct mail campaigns. This position works closely within the Direct Marketing department, with internal and chapter email partners and with vendor partners to support and execute campaigns and help reach strategic fundraising goals to advance the mission and vision of the Alzheimer's Association.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide support to implement and keep digital direct marketing, direct mail and intermediate giving annual plans on schedule to meet fundraising revenue goals.
  • Review and routing of direct mail and email campaigns at all stages - copy, creative, deployment/mailing. Excellent spelling, grammar and editing skills are a must.
  • Manage and maintain production calendars for constituent email and direct mail campaigns.
  • Become well versed in Association brand guidelines and review of direct marketing campaigns to ensure guidelines are met.
  • Communicate with vendors to keep projects on schedule, provide feedback on creative pieces.
  • Invoicing for Direct Marketing (Mail and Digital) 20%
  • Tracking production schedules for mail and digital program 10%
  • Preforms Other duties as assigned.



REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related highly preferred
  • 1-3 years of marketing project management experience.
  • 1-3 years of editing or writing, or content management experience.
  • Project management experience; ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently and maintain deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of direct and digital marketing and email best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing and communications skills required (including spelling and grammar).
  • Ability to adjust messaging and content based on feedback provided.
  • Vendor management and performance monitoring experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience: Ability to work with internal and external partners and constituents.
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office products, MS Excel pivot tables.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Full time: Based on 37.5 hours per week

Position Grade: 505 Non Exempt; Estimated Hourly Range ( $28.82- $33.33 p/hr)
