We're currently hiring a Director, Transformation to join our Finance Team! In this role, you'll be responsible for all the financial systems in the Finance Department, including but not limited to, NetSuite, ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Dynamics, Concur, Banking Systems, and expense packages. It will define and manage these system's business rules and processes and will need to gain a complete understanding of how they operate and integrate. The position will function as an intermediary between Management, System Users, IT and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

    Develop and oversee a long-term roadmap for Finance and Human Resource systems.
  • Manage NetSuite Product Owner and lead the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of NetSuite and other finance and accounting systems, as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure system functionalities meet business needs.
  • Lead the adoption of new systems, upgrades and functionalities with expert knowledge of all aspects of successful implementation to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Oversee integrated testing of configuration, application and business process changes within business applications to ensure the change works with ancillary systems and processes
  • Oversee training, and change management processes for new system functionalities
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and resources
  • Create and document Business Rules, Functional Processes and Desktop Procedures
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all applicable system changes with ability to communicate change impact effectively to management and end-users
  • Maintain appropriate access controls and monitor for system integrity and data security.
  • Ensure that financial systems are compliant with applicable regulations and support the organization's audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT on system process changes and functionality to improve systems
  • Act as Liaison between Finance, HR, IT and Management


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA or CPA is a plus along with at least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business systems administration and management within a global Contract Research Organization or similar industry.
  • Experience with financial and HR systems (e.g. NetSuite Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Financial Force, Concur) is highly desirable along with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles including GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
  • Must have experience with system integrations, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive, etc.) and data migration.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving systems adoption and implementation. Experience leading a full ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Strong ability to influence senior management and collaborate with IT teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent Communicator: Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills to present complex system functionality and business processes in a clear and concise manner and to help showcase the successes of your work and Rho's.

As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 per year
