A day in the life...

As the Sales Analyst, you will perform customer and business analysis as well as sales administration work to develop and/or strengthen strategic partnerships internally and externally. You will also assist in achieving key business objectives with Ahold Delhaize (ADUSA) and the Russell Stover Grocery East Team.

What you will be doing:



  • Assisting the Russell Stover Account Managers achieve sales budget and annual targets.
  • Create and manage internal reporting that will drive business growth with ADUSA and/or other accounts.
  • Work in customer portals to create and manage promotions and other necessary inputs.
  • Utilize internal sales data, syndicated data, and customer-specific POS to develop actionable insights, strategies, and tactics.
  • Analyze, track, and monitor business results objectives using designated tools (Circana, customer-specific POS data, etc.).
  • Assess trends, analyze data, and identify key customer opportunities to help build strategic business plans.
  • Proactively develop, facilitate, and implement specific projects with targeted customers to support achieving sales goals and long-term account development.
  • Participate in customer presentation building and meetings.
  • Account penetration with identified key decision makers and leveraging relationships to achieve desired business results.
  • Administration of new and existing item maintenance, promotional deal sheets, sample requisitions, product imaging, etc.
  • Work with customer personnel to ensure on-time shipping, ASN tracking, resolve EDI issues, ensure proper inventory at customer facilities, resolve pricing errors, weekly order tracking, etc.
  • Identify, validate, and clear deductions, minimize aged deductions, estimate funds, create commitments, monitor trade spending efficiency, etc.
  • Actively communicate project status, competitive activity, and other business-critical information both internally and externally as needed.
  • Provide analytical support for accurate demand consensus forecasting.


As the Sales Analyst, you can be located in the Kansas City, MO area or on the East coast.

(Basic Qualifications)



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of data analysis or sales experience
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel approximately 3 to 4 days per month

(Preferred Qualifications)



  • Data analysis experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), preferably within Grocery Class of Trade, confectionary industry experience is desirable.
  • Experience pulling and analyzing data from Circana.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Self- motivated and result-driven mindset will be needed to succeed.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, respond with urgency to requests and remain focused on strategic imperatives
  • Ability to create financial recommendations utilizing basic ROI analysis.
  • Ability to partner with multiple cross functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
