Job Title: Director, Information Systems
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: In-office St. Francis, WI, with hybrid options available to local candidates only.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (target base $175,000 + bonus)

About this Role:
Join us as Director of Information Systems to lead our IS team, develop cost-effective solutions, and shape our IT strategy. This role is about innovation, growth, and impact. This will be a player-coach role initially, phasing into more strategy and leadership by 2026.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Information Systems team, overseeing daily operations.
  • Provide strategic insights to shape our corporate technology landscape.
  • Plan and manage staffing, hardware, and facilities to advance our corporate vision & mission.
  • Direct the strategic use of systems, telecom, and software.
  • Establish IS policies, standards, and security protocols to protect our intellectual property, data, and resources.
  • Oversee budget and finances, focusing on cost-effective, high-impact operations.
  • Communicate effectively with all organizational levels from a leadership standpoint.
  • Design compensation and incentive programs to foster personal and departmental growth.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IS team, driving organizational transformation.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Proven expertise with a minimum of 12 years in IT and deep knowledge in hardware, systems, security, and software management.
  • Skilled proficiency in ERP systems is critical for operational integrity and efficiency.
  • Must have prior experience in the manufacturing sector to understand key challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • A track record of leading technical teams and managing budgets, with accountability for P&L, performance, and staff development.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, essential for strategic alignment and team motivation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certifications preferred.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
