We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. In this Principal Product Manager role, you'll contribute and help lead Procore's Search and Copilot strategy enabling our customers to use Search, Chat and GenAI technologies to improve construction project outcomes. As a member of our Construction Intelligence team, you'll partner across our Product & Technology teams to help define the future of our Search and Generative AI products (Procore Copilot), drive roadmaps, and deliver delightful Data & AI products to everyone in construction on a global platform. Use your strategic thinking, problem solving and strong story telling skills to drive innovative development and scale Copilot.

This position will report to the Director of Product Management - Data and AI, and also work alongside with the Head of Product - AI. This position is located in Austin, Texas with the opportunity to meet our customers primarily across the US and Canada. We're looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Use your product management skills and technical knowledge to envision, inspire, clarify and evangelize Data & AI-enabled products across customers, internal teams and app marketplace partners
  • Identify market opportunities while developing and championing a product vision/strategy around search and Copilot tooling.
  • Own the product management of Search and our Copilot products. Initiate and execute the body of work end to end (from discovery, planning, shipping releases, GTM, packing/pricing considerations, customer feedback, and be responsible for business outcomes).
  • Work side by side with other product managers, marketing, customer success, sales, engineering counterparts, and architects to craft and bring to life a vision for Data & AI-enabled products
  • Partner with other Procore product teams to define the related Search, Copilot and Agents requirements with success criteria that improve how Procore delivers Data & AI capabilities to customers.
  • Be hands-on and drive day-to-day product management including sprint planning, story prioritization, product backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Define outcomes and measurable KPIs based on impact and convey the importance of this data through strategic storytelling.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of Product Management SaaS experience
  • Strong partnerships with product marketing, product design and user experience, with strong customer empathy, and ability to communicate business impact with clarity.
  • Have a solid understanding of search products and mechanisms, with applied experiences in search quantitative evaluation methods. A/B testing experience is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in technically oriented Product Management roles with one or more of the following technologies: Search, Intelligent Information Retrieval, Generative AI, Data Science, Predictive Models, Recommendation/Personalization Engines.
  • Good understanding of Information Retrieval Enterprise Search, GenAI, machine learning and data science technical ecosystems (examples include ElasticSearch, Algolia, Microsoft Search, Guru, Glean, OpenAI models & APIs, AWS Bedrock, Prompt Engineering, Langchain, Semantic Kernel, Fabric, Databricks, Tensorflow, Pytorch, ML flow, Kubeflow, Snowflake, SageMaker, Scikit, Scipy, etc.)
  • Deep familiarity with data management strategy, big data, storage, processing, APIs, and cloud-based implementations at scale.
  • Experience delivering data & AI platform architectures for global data distribution, considering international regulatory compliance and legal requirements.
  • Experienced in product data analysis with exposure to SQL, data visualization (such as Tableau/PowerBI/Looker), and data-driven decision-making skills.

Base Pay Range $198,240 - $272,580. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
