Clariant is currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Tech Level III to support the Care Chemicals business unit in Clear Lake, TX. This role will ensure the reliability and functionality of complex mechanical systems and equipment at our production facility. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex systems. They must possess a deep understanding of industrial maintenance best practices, excel in a safety-first environment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is a full time, onsite opportunity. Responsibilities

* Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on complex systems, including piping, pumps, vacuum systems, and heat exchange equipment

* Conduct precise measurements and alignments using specialized tools and calculations

* Install, maintain, and repair bearings, couplings, and mechanical seals

* Execute advanced piping tasks with various materials, including pressure testing

* Perform valve maintenance by replacing packing, o-rings, and troubleshooting various valve types.

* Rebuild valve actuators

* Utilize SAP to document all maintenance activities accurately

* Review and suggest updates to maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

* High school diploma required

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment performing equipment maintenance

* Exposure to SAP for documenting maintenance activities

* NCCER Level 3 Industrial Maintenance Technician Assessment certification required

* Demonstrated comprehensive technical knowledge in industrial maintenance

* Strong safety awareness and consistent application of safety standards

* Effective communication skills and a professional approach to teamwork and problem-solving
