Corporate Litigation Counsel Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of pressure relief, explosion protection, fire suppression and detection equipment, has an opportunity for a Corporate Litigaiton Counsel position. Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO with over 400 employees locally & over 1,200 employees worldwide. Job Summary: Provides legal counsel regarding dispute resolution to all levels of management of the Corporation and its subsidiaries, manage the company's insurance claims, including property, casualty, liability, workers' compensation, and other insurance policies. Act as the key liaison between the company and its insurance claim adjusters, and outside litigation counsel for all matters, including employment disputes, negligence and product liability claims, contract disputes, and other claims. Ensure compliance and protect against legal liability. Holds legal expertise in employment law, EEOC, FLSA, product liability matters, contract law, and corporate law. Provides leadership and complex legal analysis to all corporate clients. Primary Responsibilities:

Travel domestically and internationally as required. Job Qualifications: Required: Juris Doctorate from accredited law school. Eight or more years of diverse dispute resolution legal services in a corporate environment. Ability to clearly translate into lay terms and effectively communicate the legal conditions, which affect business opportunities and problems. Membership in the state bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in the state of Missouri. Ability to use Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite software applications. Preferred: Exposure to a manufacturing organization with multiple sites, domestic and international subsidiaries. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management ("CLM") software applications.
