Position Overview

The Planning team builds and maintains strong client relationships. Their focus is to think strategically about the business, develop business by building opportunities and actively contribute to the planning process. This team effectively problem solves, generates innovative solutions and displays energy and passion for the work presented. Mediahub strives to challenge the status quo by consistently looking beyond the quantitative. To be most successful at Mediahub, you must be organized, creative, and confident to support media issues relative to your account(s).

The successful candidate must also maintain a positive attitude in the face of a constantly changing enviroment. Must be a problem solver and professional in all communications both inside the agency and with clients.We are looking for a high energy individual who thrives on creating disruptive efforts in media, yet at the same time understands how data/tech drive business. Responsibilities




  • Takes the leadership role in conflict resolution. Identifies, manages, and resolves problems before they escalate.


  • Strategic agency leader, who will align with client goals and act as a strategic leader to exceed them.


  • lead client relationships in order to more effectively sell ideas and contribute to positive agency evaluations.


  • Leads the implementation of the processes for the management of the strategic and tactical execution of all media products across all teams.


  • Ensures that policies and plans of the media planning discipline, and of the agency are communicated and followed across all teams consistently.


  • Leads the management and creation of platforms for communications across teams and across disciplines.


  • Provides leadershp to the development of the skills and knowledge base of those more junior as well as supervise, advise, and counsel all members of the Planning Team.


  • Motivates Planners and encourages innovation, and creativity throughout all projects by serving as a role model across all groups/teams.


  • Leads the evolution of all planning presentations as needed.


  • Leads teams in setting strategies for developing media plans.


  • Takes the lead to provide recommendations of long-term planning strategies.


  • Identifies and develops promising talent in partnership with the Human Resources department.


  • Evaluates and communicates planning staff development needs in terms of rotation and promotion to ensure high quality talent development.


  • Assists, where needed, to present and sell plans management and Clients.



Qualifications



  • Bachelors degree in business administration/marketing preferred.


  • 7-10+ years of agency experience required.


  • Strong strategic leader with ability to assemble thought leadership POVs, proposals, and reporting. Keeps current on media trends, integrations, industry benchmarks, etc.


  • Must have ability to lead at both strategic and tactical levels.


  • A self-starter with highly evolved communication and presentation skills, who thrives on developing strong client relationships and managing businesses to specific results.


  • Must have marketing and brand strategy expertise, be a proven ad agency leader and performer.


  • Must have excellent client service and team-building skills, and have a proven track record with securing new business.


  • Must be proactive, willing to go the extra mile to produce positive results for your client, and be a team leader.


  • Strong leadership, strategic, negotiation, and self-learning skills a must.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
