Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description of the role:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is a crucial role within our Human Resources team at The Guidance Center (TGC) in Leavenworth, Kansas. As a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC), we are dedicated to serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties. We are searching for a talented individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop recruitment strategies
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the organization
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer acceptance
• Ensure effective onboarding processes for new hires
• Utilize recruitment tools and technologies to enhance the talent acquisition process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field combination of work experience in the human resource field and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education, may be considered
• Proven experience as a talent acquisition specialist or a similar role
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and current trends in talent acquisition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
