Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor, the I&E Planner is responsible for developing high quality work plans to be used for execution of instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities at the Borger, TX facility.

What you will do:



  • Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
  • Applies actual field condition information, relevant technical data, trade knowledge, personal experience, along with the appropriate input from maintenance and operation personnel into highly executable plans
  • Ensures all plans developed are consistent with the Nutrien Planning Standards. This will include safety procedures, hazard mitigations, maintenance standards, identification of required resources, estimated task durations, materials, equipment, and services required to execute the work identified
  • Assembly of fully planned work into formal job packages for transport to maintenance groups for field execution
  • Receives feedback from trades supervisors/trades personnel regarding ideas and procedures that will result in future efficiency gains. Applies feedback to maintenance plans and task list
  • The planner is expected to report on any issues that are preventing plans from progressing to execution prior to work eclipsing the deadline set forth by Nutrien work order priorities standard
  • Following the appropriate training, be able to effectively use required SAP functionality to meet requirements of the position
  • Develop and maintain task lists to ensure complete and accurate records consistent with Nutrien planning standards
  • Reports all safety concerns and takes corrective action for a safety hazard identified that could impact themselves or others
  • Participation in functional focus groups and will provide cross function support/ coverage within the planning and scheduling
  • Work collaboratively with operations & maintenance groups to maintain up to date information in the SAP PM Module
  • Effectively manage assigned trades backlog of work in SAP based off priorities and weekly revisions
  • Possess the leadership characteristics to supervise company personnel and contractors for work execution when needed
  • Ability to execute work in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
  • Ensure co-workers and contractors are following Nutrien's policies and procedures in a safe manner



What you will bring:



  • 6-10 years working in an industrial setting performing I&E task
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous I&E planning experience
  • Knowledge of ammonia, urea, or syngas processes a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of the SAP PM Module
  • Understanding of controls, PLC's, DCS and various instrumentation
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Understanding of low, medium, and high voltage equipment
