Job Title: Systems Administrator Job Description: The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our systems and networks. This role involves analyzing equipment performance to determine the need for repairs or replacements, gathering and evaluating customer needs to predict system and network requirements, and recommending improvements to enhance system and network configurations. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will collaborate with network users to resolve system issues, research new technologies, coordinate with vendors and internal teams for purchases, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. This position provides daily server and application support for real-time data systems under the guidance of administrators, with a focus on admissions tracking and metering/data collection.
Key Responsibilities: * *Monitor and Troubleshoot*: Continuously monitor system performance and address issues promptly. * *Diagnose and Resolve*: Identify and fix hardware, software, networking, and system problems. * *Install and Configure*: Set up and configure software applications. * *Reporting*: Generate and maintain system performance and usage reports. * *Ensure Security*: Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems. Required Skills: * Automation * Windows Server * SQL Scripting * System Administration * Windows Administration * SCADA Systems * SQL Server * SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) * PowerShell * Transact-SQL (T-SQL) * Data Collection * Network Support Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Conceptual understanding of network administration and scripting. * A commitment to a full-time career with eagerness and dedication to join the team. * Preferred experience in plants or energy organizations. * Metering and data collection experience. Desired Experience: * Previous work experience in plants or energy organizations. * Hands-on experience with metering and data collection systems.
