Job Title: Loss Draft Associate Start Date: 2/21 Group Interview Date: 2/6 at 1pm Hours: 8am to 4:30pm during training (first 3 to 4 weeks). Must not miss any time during this period. Schedule to stay the same after training, with some flexibility within an hour each way. Location: Fully on-site in Troy, Mi Job Description: The Loss Drafts Associate will assist customers with claims on their homeowner's insurance. The specialist manages the loss claim from the point of reporting through completion of the repairs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to respond to questions and requests from clients, staff, borrowers, contractors, adjusters, and agents quickly and accurately. All activity pertaining to the claim must be documented, and draws are issued for the repairs as needed. Processing must meet all compliance requirements. The specialist must demonstrate the ability to make decisions, analyze problems, and act promptly to ensure the client's needs are met on a timely basis. Key Responsibilities: * Assist clients with releasing funds to restoration companies for property repairs. * Handle claims that can be dramatic, such as those involving fire or flood damage. * Make approximately 25 calls per day. * Listen and understand customer frustrations, staying calm under pressure. * Problem-solve with customers and make them feel at ease. * Document all conversations and details into a multi-screen computer system. * Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and not taking things personally when dealing with frustrated customers. * Document information into Excel. This role requires a dedicated individual who can handle high-pressure situations and provide excellent customer service.
