The Team Support Specialist I is responsible for providing essential administrative and scheduling support to the delivery of home health and/or infusion services in compliance with regulations and agency policies. Develops and maintains patient and employee master schedules. Reconciles visits ordered to visits planned and made, and identifies variances for immediate resolution. Completes data entry into supporting patient systems and for billing purposes. If applicable, enters tracking of orders sent / received. May manage medical records per agency standards. Coordinates closely with agency leadership regarding clinical staff performance, documentation and patient care issues. Develops and maintains knowledge of regulations and agency policies to ensure excellent patient care and compliance with regulations and protection of agency revenue. Possible Supplemental: IV - Manages Admission/Discharge log and uses to ensure accurate patient census and receipt of all required documentation from clinical staff.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Post high school education or training - preferred

Knowledge:

• Competent in medical terminology
• Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Outlook and word

Skills:

• Excellent data entry skills. Experience with windows and software packages required
• Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills
• Ability to work as member of a team, solve problems and multitask in a timely fashion
• ability to enter data accurately and timely
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills, including written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team, solve problems and multi-task in a timely fashion. Ability to handle change.

Work Experience:

• 3 Years' experience in health Care related field, home health experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 15.00 per hour - Maximum 24.09 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
