We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and creative Associate Producer with a passion for social media and original content. This role will include managing The Will Cain Show's social media accounts, creating original content alongside Will Cain, executing administrative tasks, and being a key liaison between Will and the NYC based team. We are seeking someone who works well independently, is a proven go-getter, and savvy on social media.

You will be offered the following shift:

7:00 AM CT - 4:00 PM CT, Monday-Friday

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a liaison with NYC headquarters to ensure seamless communication and coordination of the anchor's production needs.

  • Create, curate, and manage content for social media channels, ensuring alignment with the show's voice and objectives.

  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance and audience reach.

  • Pitch and develop unique and compelling stories that meet all required editorial standards.

  • Assist the anchor with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements.

  • Assist with research, script preparation, and any other editorial needs to support the anchor.

  • Greet on-set guests and make sure they are comfortable and prepared for air.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1-2 years of experience in television production.

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong social media expertise and experience posting across several platforms.

  • Being a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team.

  • Strong logistical and editorial skills with knowledge of national and international politics.

  • Keen understanding of how to set up interviews and gather news.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize on a daily basis, especially in a breaking news environment.

  • Flexibility and ability to work early mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends, and be open to travel.

  • Familiarity with iNews, Dalet, and VIZ preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $61,000.00-70,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $50,800.00-58,300.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
