Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:45pm-7:00am QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Read job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. - Set stops and guides to specified length as indicated. - Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with die or blade. - Push buttons or depress pedals to activate machines. - Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects and machine malfunction. - Measure work piece dimensions with necessary tools. - Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust and scale from work pieces. - Perform minor machine maintenance. - Trouble shoot machine operations. Machine Operator Requirements: - Ability to work independently. - Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs without assistance. - Structured training or relevant work experience. - Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. - Ability to perform basic math. - Ability to work as part of a team. - Ability to reason and problem solves as it pertains to position. - Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software. monroe@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
