Join our team which is committed to the delivery of the highest quality healthcare service. We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Support Assistant who is self-motivated, energetic, and a take-charge individual.

Job Responsibilities:


  1. Complete and process forms and other client-generated paperwork per BH prescriber requests.
  2. Process assigned tasks as per established standing orders, including Refill Requests.
  3. PA completion/contacting insurance companies for authorizations and f/u calls to patient inquiries/calls.
  4. Contact clients for routine follow-up needs as requested by Providers.
  5. Obtain CLIA-waived urine drug screen as needed.
  6. Follow up with patients on outstanding referrals and resolution of referrals.
  7. Assist the BH Quality Assurance Coordinator as needed.
  8. Assist psychiatric providers in getting treatment feedback from external psychotherapists or MAT providers.
  9. Take calls from the pharmacy with any questions from the pharmacist.
  10. Call the pharmacy to request a medication list.
  11. Check with the pharmacy to see if medications are covered under insurance or what alternative medications are available.
  12. Assist with measurement-based care at new intakes and at 90-day treatment reviews.
  13. assist in CCS care coordination and CCS BH Providers as needed.
  14. Provide backup to BH facilitators with vitals as needed.
  15. Assist BH providers with group therapy functions.
  16. Provide back-up for CADT prior authorizations.
  17. Provide back-up translation for non-bilingual staff as availability allows.


Qualifications:


  1. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  2. High school Diploma or GED.
  3. Satisfactory completion of in-house training for related responsibilities.
  4. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
  5. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
